EFL on Early Years

Pre-Kindergarten and Early Years come to EFL class every Fridays!
Here are some activities happening in our EFL class.

Music and movements through different songs. They follow and sing with the video in this Action Songs link.

They learn the letters of the English alphabet, colors, animals, and many more, through different puzzles. They enjoy working and talking to each other.

Read-a-loud is a very important pre-reading activity.
Ms. Faye reading-a-loud the story "The Owl Babies" by Martin Waddell.
A story about a mommy owl who leaves her 3 baby owls to hunt for food making the 3 baby owls worry. In the end, mommy owl comes home.

Discussion Questions:
Is it safe to go out of the house without an adult?

What did the owls feel:
When they found out mommy was gone?
While they waited outside the house in the dark?
When mommy finally came back?

A good opportunity for the students to use the words/emotions and to express their feelings.

They also watched Owl Babies Animation

Spin a letter! Spin and give a word that begins with the sound of the letter.

Watch out for more updates in our EFL Blog!
